Embedded Firmware Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team at Marston Holdings. As a key member of our Technology department, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop state-of-the-art firmware for embedded systems
  • Contribute to the rapid development of analog and digital electronics, communication protocols, and device firmware
  • Collaborate with the hardware development team on technical specifications of embedded devices and electronic components
  • Investigate and resolve issues with device operation and participate in root cause analysis exercises

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Sciences or equivalent
  • Experience with developing firmware for microcontroller devices, including Atmel, Microchip, Silicon Labs, Nordic Semiconductor, Espressif, and ARM-based platforms
  • Comprehensive understanding of microcontroller peripherals, including communication standards like SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, etc.
  • Working familiarity with commonly used RTOS like FreeRTOS, mbed OS, TinyOS, Contiki, Zephyr, etc.
  • Experience with OpenThread and working with open-source code bases on Linux environments like Ubuntu
