About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Childbase Partnership. As a Relief Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, while also supporting our permanent staff with their holiday, training, and other leave.

As a Relief Nursery Practitioner, you will work with children aged 0-5 years across our nursery, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, observing and recording children's progress, and maintaining accurate records.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children, has a strong understanding of child development, and is able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Support permanent staff with their holiday, training, and other leave
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Observe and record children's progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements
  • NQF Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or a related field
  • Experience of working with young children in a nursery environment
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning
