About the Job:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a SEMHA Specialist Educator in a dynamic secondary school setting. As a 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex SEMH needs, promoting their emotional and social growth. Our ideal candidate will possess a Degree in Psychology or a related subject and have previous experience working with children with SEMH needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans for students with SEMH needs, addressing specific challenges and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care and education.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in SEMH support and intervention strategies.


Requirements:
  • A Degree in Psychology or a related subject from a reputable UK university.
  • Significant experience working with children with SEMH needs, including those with Behavioural Difficulties.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.


Package and Benefits:
