Accounts Payable Team Lead


Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Team Lead to join our team at Cast UK Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing our accounts payable team to ensure the smooth processing of invoices and payments.



Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:



  • Leading and managing the accounts payable team to achieve high levels of productivity and accuracy.
  • Developing and implementing efficient processes to streamline the accounts payable function.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and issues related to supplier payments.
  • Monitoring and reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
