Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Ross-Shire Engineering Limited. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
  3. Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
  4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  5. Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  6. Manage project documentation, including project reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure project requirements are met.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  1. Qualification to degree / HND/ HNC level in Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Proven track record in Project Management, with an engineering or supervisory background.
  3. Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day-to-day workloads within a busy environment.
  4. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  5. Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication with an ability to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions.
  6. Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work with, lead and motivate others, and be able to bring projects to successful completion.
  7. Driven, with an ability to work individually and with teams under your direction.
  8. Full UK Driving Licence.
