Job Summary:

Macmillan Davies is seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join their HR team. As an ER Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing high-volume ER casework, ensuring the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ER casework, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, appeals, absence management, and redundancy
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on HR and ER issues
  • Act as a first point of contact for ER queries and concerns
  • Foster a positive and productive workplace environment
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to develop and implement ER strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience of handling ER cases, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, appeals, absence management, and redundancy
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR
  • Resilient, flexible, assertive, and confident approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
