About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to join our team at Justintime Resourcing. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centered care and support to service users with a range of care needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, nutrition, and hydration.
  • Manage and administer medication as required.
  • Understand and adhere to care standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of service user information.
  • Provide support with light domestic duties and shopping.
  • Engage with service users and promote their independence.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.

Requirements:

  • Must be hardworking, reliable, and honest.
  • Experience preferred, but not essential as full training can be provided.
  • Must hold a valid DBS or be willing to undergo a DBS check.
  • Driver preferred, but not essential.
  • Be friendly and able to engage with others.
  • Must have empathy towards others.
