Event Kitchen Team Member

We are seeking a motivated and organized Event Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Aligra Bristol. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs in preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and cooking areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Support with food storage, stock rotation, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Ensure all food items are stored at the correct temperatures, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure they are visually appealing.
- Support chefs with ingredient preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning.
- Assist with cleaning of dishes, cutlery, and kitchenware as required.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a busy kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
