Join Our Financial Reporting Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our Financial Reporting Advisory Team in the Audit Quality Directorate (AQD). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the role and the expanding team.

About the Role

As a Senior Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, building a network of experienced specialists, and contributing to the firm's commitment to deliver high-quality output. You will work with Managers, Directors, and Partners within both TSG, the audit stream, and across the wider firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and supervision to junior team members
  • Technical review of a personal portfolio of annual reports of publicly traded and other higher-risk companies
  • Providing clear and practical solutions to technical financial reporting queries
  • Preparing and presenting financial reporting training, updates, and seminars
  • Helping to develop financial reporting tools and guidance for application by the firm's partners and staff
  • Writing articles and other publications on financial reporting matters
  • Assisting with the preparation of draft responses to external consultations
  • Monitoring external developments in financial reporting areas
Requirements

We are looking for a talented, high-performing, and ambitious Senior Manager with ACA/ICAS qualification or overseas equivalent. You should have Manager or Senior Manager experience in a technical team or have other relevant experience in technical financial reporting. Specific skills in/experience of insurance or asset management would be an advantage.
