Senior Financial Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in the Audit Quality Directorate (AQD). As a key member of our Financial Reporting Advisory Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our team and contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage projects related to financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Build and maintain a network of experienced specialists in financial reporting, providing support and guidance to junior team members.
- Provide technical review of annual reports of publicly traded and higher-risk companies, working with the audit team to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, company legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver financial reporting training, updates, and seminars both internally and externally.
- Contribute to the development of financial reporting tools and guidance for application by the firm's partners and staff.
- Write articles and other publications on financial reporting matters for internal and external communications.
- Assist with the preparation of draft responses to external consultations in relation to legal, regulatory, and financial reporting matters.
- Monitor external developments in financial reporting areas, reporting back to the team and developing an appropriate action plan where required.
- ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
- Manager or Senior Manager experience in a technical team or relevant experience in technical financial reporting.
- Specific skills in/experience of insurance or asset management would be an advantage.
