Special Education Assistant Role

Nova Training is seeking an experienced Special Education Assistant to join our team. This part-time, permanent role involves working 28 hours per week, Monday to Thursday.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with special educational needs and be committed to ensuring all students have access to high-quality education and support.

  • Assist in managing behavioural difficulties that may arise
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best

  • Work independently and as part of a strong, cohesive team
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge within English and Maths
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting
  • Relevant qualification or training in Special Education
  • Previous experience working with learners who have an EHCP would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Vision, innovation, and passion for teaching and learning
