Run a Marston's Pub in Cardiff

We are seeking an experienced publican or retail manager to run the Lewis Arms Hotel in Cardiff on our Partnership Agreement.

The Lewis Arms Hotel is a popular destination for villagers and tourists alike, with a strong focus on community events and entertainment. The pub has a weekly quiz, Open Mic Nights, and monthly live music, and hosts community events throughout the year.

The ideal candidate will have experience of running a village/community pub and a strong background in food operations. They will be a good networker, able to involve themselves in the local community and drive sales growth through innovative marketing and promotions.

The pub has a weekly sales average of £8,000, with a wet-led split of 80/20. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow sales through targeted marketing and promotions, as well as capitalising on midweek offers and Sunday lunches.

We offer a competitive package, including a guaranteed annual retained sum of £25,000, released weekly, and 22% share of weekly sales, excluding VAT. Accommodation is included, with most bills covered, except council tax and TV License.
