Traffic Management Specialist

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Light division based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will work on a full-time, permanent basis, with opportunities for day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and maintaining temporary traffic lights
- Assisting with traffic diversion and management
- Ensuring public safety and adherence to traffic lights
- Working closely with management and crews to achieve site objectives
- Conducting on-site assessments and ensuring site safety
- Responding to emergencies and notifying relevant personnel
- Participating in a rota-based on-call system
Requirements:
- Knowledge of traffic management operations
- Valid CSCS card
- At least one of the following traffic management tickets: Lantra –, M1/2, M5, M6,12AB Operatives, and LTMO / TMF
- Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
- Awareness and compliance with provided RAMS
