Traffic Management Specialist

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Light division based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will work on a full-time, permanent basis, with opportunities for day and night shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, maintain, and remove traffic management systems, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Key Responsibilities:- Setting up temporary traffic lights and managing traffic flow
- Assisting with traffic diversion and maintaining traffic management systems
- Ensuring public safety and compliance with traffic lights
- Working closely with management and crews to achieve project goals
- Conducting on-site assessments and taking appropriate action in emergency situations
- Participating in a rota-based on-call system, if required
- Knowledge of traffic management operations and a valid CSCS card
- Hold at least one of the following traffic management tickets: Lantra –, M1/2, M5, M6,12AB Operatives, and LTMO / TMF
- Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and comply with RAMS
