Job Title: Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with the project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out and managing the construction process, including the installation of roads, drainage, and landscaping.
  • Coordinating with the site manager and other stakeholders to ensure that all works are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring that all temporary works designs are in place and that all work is undertaken to the current drawings and specification.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate records of the construction process, including quality assurance checks and reports.
  • Coordinating with the engineering team to gather as-built information and close out defects in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a reputable Groundworks contractor.
  • Good level of communication skills and ability to work effectively with the site manager and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD, Asta programming, and N4ce Ground modelling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid CSCS card and ability to work at heights.
