Diverse Language Skills Required for UK Public Services

We are urgently recruiting for freelance interpreters to work within various settings across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. As an interpreter with us, you will have the opportunity to utilize your language skills and contribute to providing high-quality services to individuals and organizations in need.
About Us:
Language Empire has been providing professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK for over 20 years. We offer a wide range of services, including face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreting, as well as translation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services
- Check the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Dealing with highly confidential information
Requirements:
We are looking for fluent English speakers who possess another language and meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 21 or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
