About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Multi-Sports Instructor, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create an engaging and safe environment for our young participants. Your primary focus will be on designing and delivering sports programs that cater to different age groups and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver sports sessions that promote physical activity, teamwork, and social interaction among children.
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the Camp Manager and other staff members to plan and implement sports programs that meet the needs of our participants.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and guardians, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in sports coaching and child development.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years.
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games.
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-oriented individual with a passion for working with children.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available).
