We are seeking a highly skilled OT Security Specialist to join our team at SSE PLC. As an OT Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our operational technology systems.
Key Responsibilities- Test and evaluate operational technology devices and systems for security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security processes and procedures that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain secure device configurations and processes to ensure the cyber security of our operational technology systems.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on OT security-related matters.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies and recommend improvements to our security posture.
- Strong knowledge of OT/IT cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with operational technology systems and equipment.
- Qualified to minimum HNC in a relevant engineering or computing discipline.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
