Job Summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a reliable and flexible pharmacy technician to work within our friendly Pharmacy teams at our Basingstoke site, ideally in our Outpatient Pharmacy Department.

Main Duties of the Job

As a member of the Outpatient Pharmacy team, you will contribute to the provision of a range of pharmaceutical services, including issuing prescriptions, giving advice where appropriate, and working alongside Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians and dispensers to ensure all pharmacy duties are carried out in accordance with legal guidelines and departmental procedures.

Education & Qualification

Essential

  • Registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Computer literate

Experience & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy

  • Maintains a portfolio of practice to fulfil mandatory continuing professional development
