Business Intelligence Systems Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Systems Manager to join our team in Aylesbury. As a key member of our database management team, you will be responsible for managing our CRM system, data, and associated projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain master data for all charity areas of work, ensuring accuracy and consistency across our systems.
- Lead projects to develop data resources, including APIs, with external consultants, driving innovation and improvement in our data management processes.
- Collaborate with consultants and suppliers to ensure database developments meet specifications, are high-quality, fully documented, and delivered within budget.
- Manage Database Officer activities to support charity needs, providing guidance and oversight to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Create management reports, document data and workflow processes, and inform colleagues on issues and best practices, promoting data-driven decision-making.
- Configure, maintain, update, and ensure reliability of database and related systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Import and export data files, offer technical assistance, and modify executables as required, ensuring seamless data integration and manipulation.
- Support staff with database difficulties, provide solutions with external partners, and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Streamline and improve business processes impacting the database or related systems, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Develop and run a training programme and user manual for internal staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge in database management.
- Excellent experience in managing and administering MRM or CRM databases, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel for data manipulation, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Numerate with necessary skills to produce, monitor, and interpret information and reports, using data to inform business decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to time manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, across concurrent projects, with a flexible approach to adapt to changing priorities.
- Co-operative team player with practical problem-solving skills and 'can do' attitude, incorporating a flexible approach and a willingness to learn.
- Keep up to date with current business and service thinking within Coeliac UK, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
- A real commitment to right-first-time quality and a thorough approach to work, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated but adept at working within a team environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
