Financial Services Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Support Officer to join our team at Wokingham Borough Council. As a key member of our Finance Services team, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage and resolve financial cases, and work closely with internal customers to deliver high-quality services.
About the Role:
- Provide financial support and guidance to internal customers, ensuring they have access to the right services at the right time.
- Manage and resolve financial cases, utilizing your analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver accurate and timely results.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of financial services.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of financial processes, procedures, and systems, including MS Office.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and support.
