Job Title: Resilient Year 6 SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 SEN Teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a specialist teacher for deaf children, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to ensure that all students can thrive and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Year 6 students with special educational needs, using a range of strategies to cater to individual needs.
  • Work closely with the SENCO and other teachers to develop and implement inclusive learning plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching at the primary school level, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Direct experience working with children with special needs, either through placements or volunteering.
