Construction Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Vistry Group, a leading provider of affordable mixed-tenure homes. As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and manage Site Managers across the area of responsibility to ensure all sites meet and exceed desired performance targets.
  • Actively participate in Management Team reviews of Build Strategy on new developments.
  • Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental targets are met across all sites and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review programme versus build and monitor progress.
  • Report activity at regional build/sales meetings and liaise with other departments to ensure targets are achieved.

Requirements

  • ONC or HNC in Building Construction or NVQ Level 4/5 or similar.
  • CSCS card at Contracts Manager Level.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • SMSTS or similar.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager for a high-volume house builder.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of H&S obligations and building legislation.
  • Proven track record of motivating and managing a team effectively.
