At Simpson Judge Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Oversee annual statutory accounts, corporation tax filings, and confirmation statements.
  • Conduct quarterly VAT returns and daily cash flow monitoring.
  • Manage debt facilities, cash flow forecasting, and perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Analyse costs and make recommendations for efficiency improvements.
  • Provide monthly variance commentary to support accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Supervise and develop a team of three finance professionals.
  • Responsible for recruitment, training, and motivating finance staff.
  • Manage monthly payroll processes.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Handle relationships with banks and HMRC, ensuring efficient operational workflows.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or Equivalent)
