Wayman Group is seeking a highly experienced educational leader to take on the role of Assistant Head. Located in Oxford, this position involves working at an Advanced Placement level or above, preferably with a Humanities background.

This is a hands-on opportunity that requires a strong understanding of curriculum and support structures. The ideal candidate will have experience managing information services using SIMS and be proficient in recording staff absences and arranging cover.

The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with colleagues and students alike. With a focus on student progress and achievement, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage information services using SIMS
  • Record staff absences and arrange cover
  • Work at an Advanced Placement level or above
  • Build relationships with colleagues and students

Requirements:

  • Degree in any Humanities subject including Sociology
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Experience as an Assistant Principal or above

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position will be paid on the Inner London Leadership Scale, with additional benefits including access to professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
