Financial Planning Role

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team at a respected financial advisory firm in Oxfordshire. As a dedicated member of our team, you will conduct comprehensive financial research and support Financial Planners in client meetings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing tailored financial planning recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Managing client portfolios to ensure alignment with benchmarks and maintaining optimal performance over time.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients and serving as their primary point of contact for any queries or concerns.
  • Using financial planning tools to assess client information and produce detailed cash flow projections and scenarios.
  • Collaborating with product providers and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and process execution.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar financial planning role is required.
  • A Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge across financial planning areas: investment management, pensions, tax, protection, and estate planning.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in cash flow modelling, preferably with Voyant, and experience in handling complex financial planning for high-net-worth clients are key requirements.
