About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Complete Care Amegreen. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs in their own homes and in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals with mobility issues, including transfers and mobility aids.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in health and social care, preferably in a care assistant or support worker role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures, including infection control and manual handling.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
