The Role:

  • 37 hours per week, full-time position
  • Fixed-term contract for 2 years
  • Competitive salary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote bilingual skills among learners
  • Advise and encourage students to pursue courses through the medium of Welsh or bilingually
  • Deliver Welsh language awareness-raising sessions and support students studying through the medium of Welsh or bilingually
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support Fluent Welsh students

About You:

  • Experience in mentoring and promoting Welsh language and culture
  • Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above in Welsh First Language
  • Welsh Oracy (Listening/Speaking) Level 4 (Fluent)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
