Lean Transformation Specialist

GE Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Lean transformation efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Lean strategy to drive process improvements and cost savings
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with process owners to develop and implement Lean roadmaps and metrics
- Drive plant cost savings initiatives and ensure successful execution of large-scale improvement projects
- Identify and share best practices within and outside the company to drive adoption and improvement
- Provide guidance and coaching to teams on Lean principles and tools
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and challenge leaders to create an action-based culture
- Work with the finance department to evaluate project savings estimates and ensure accurate accounting of CI productivity
Requirements:
- Significant experience in large businesses, high-paced environments, and Lean/CI process improvements
- Lean practitioner with experience in facilitating kaizen events and coaching core tools
- Proven track record of driving business-wide transformation and outcomes in large, matrixed organizations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to bring others along and drive change
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including Excel
Desired Skills:
- Degree in process management, operations, industrial engineering, or engineering management
- Experience in process optimization, operations, or business management
- Certifications in quality or CI
