Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring seamless communication with the Reservations Manager and other hotel teams.
- Delegate tasks to team members, assigning duties and preparing work schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure all administrative procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with hotel guidelines, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Work closely with the Reservations Manager to implement and deliver individual and departmental training plans, promoting continuous learning and development within the team.
- Collaborate with the Groups Team to analyze and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, adhering to brand standards.
- Assist in the preparation of contracts for the leisure segment, including FIT, group allocation, and series.
- Contribute to the development of daily pricing and business strategies for all segments, working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Reservations Manager, and Revenue Manager to maximize occupancy and ADR.
- Prepare departmental financial and KPI results for presentation at monthly departmental meetings and weekly commercial meetings.
- At least 2 years' experience in a hotel reservations team, with a strong understanding of reservations systems and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
- Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office suite, with a strong understanding of Revenue Management principles.
