About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural and civil projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural and civil projects using Autocad
  • Work on a variety of projects, including residential properties, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct site visits to ensure customer needs are met and accurate specifications are produced
  • Carry out surveys and produce reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil and/or structural engineering
  • Minimum four years of experience as a structural design engineer in the UK
  • Chartered structural engineer or near chartered status
  • Working knowledge of structural timber
  • Experience dealing with customers directly
