Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural solutions for a range of projects, from extensions and restoration work on historic buildings to design works on residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop structural solutions for various projects using Autocad.
  • Work on a variety of projects, including medieval churches and multi-million pound coastal properties.
  • Carry out surveys and produce reports.
  • Get involved with sustainable building projects.
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Minimum four years of experience as a structural design engineer in the UK.
  • Able to carry out surveys and produce reports.
  • Working knowledge of structural timber.
