About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to support children with PMLD in a school near Blackburn. As a Psychology Graduate, this is an ideal opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care
- Working with challenging behaviours
- Building rapport with parents and staff
Position Details:
- Location: Near Blackburn
- Position: PMLD TA
- Hours: 8:30am-4pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a minimum rate of pay of £90 per day, depending on experience. Furthermore, Prospero Teaching offers a comprehensive benefits package, including free CPD courses and a dedicated Training and Development Team.
Requirements:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
