Job Overview:

Aspire Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Project Management Office to lead our project management team and drive the delivery of projects for new and existing clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team in a senior position, delivering projects for end customers, and will be responsible for managing budgets and commercial decisions.

About the Role:

  • Lead and empower the project management team through day-to-day people management to drive continuous improvement and maintain the team's engagement and professional development.
  • Provide management of all elements of project teams across the business, including technical services, sales, service desk, security, and procurement.
  • Provide guidance, support, and decision-making on deployment issues, project issues, scope issues, commercial issues, planning, and resourcing.
  • Work closely with the Chief Finance Officer and Finance team in forecasting and influencing the financial implications of the project pipeline.

Salary and Benefits:

Location and Working Arrangements:

You will be based at Aspire's Gateshead Head Office but would be required to spend some time (likely once a month or less) in our Glasgow office. We offer hybrid working where possible to support work-life balance but in line with other senior roles with this level of important interactions we would expect that you would be in the office for on average 4 days a week.

Hours of Work:

Full time, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
