Job Summary

NHS Professionals Limited offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join their team. As a key member of the ICU team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up-to-date with current nursing practices.
  • Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
  • Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
  • Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
  • Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an ICU hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up-to-date with current nursing practices.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
