About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Professional to lead our Private Client Tax department. As a Private Client Tax Partner/Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of tax professionals and providing expert advice on private client tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Private Client Tax Department: Ensure high-quality service delivery and strategic growth of the department.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer strategic tax planning solutions to clients, including inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Tax Legislation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and stay ahead of changes in tax law.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work with other teams to provide integrated client solutions.
  • Oversee a Team: Manage a team of Managers, Seniors, and Trainees, providing guidance and support.
  • Contribute to Firm Growth: Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall growth of the firm.

Requirements:

  • ACA/CTA Qualified: Hold a recognized accounting qualification and have substantial experience in private client tax.
  • Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record in leading and managing a tax department.
  • Expert Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and contribute to firm growth.
