Our client, a supportive and mid-tier general practice firm, is seeking a Client Manager for their office. You will have your own portfolio of general practice sector clients and the chance to grow this portfolio almost immediately.

The Client Manager will focus on managing OMBs, with a workload comprising a mix of audit, accounts, and tax, as well as exposure to ad-hoc advisory projects.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Reviewing WIP on completion of the job and alerting partners to issues on any overruns.
  • Taking full responsibility for the whole client audit, considering planning, fieldwork, and finalisation of the audit.
  • Final review of corporation tax returns and associated schedules ensuring they are accurate.
  • Final review of Accounts preparation
  • Involvement in Business Development and Networking Events

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in all areas of accounting, tax, and audit.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients, including WIP & billing
  • Demonstrable experience with positive staff management and mentorship
