Job Description

As Head of Business Analysis, your primary responsibility will be to lead a large team of experienced business analysts who are working on a range of innovative and modern solutions, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).

Your key objectives will include:

  • Leadership and Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts to ensure consistent and impactful delivery.
  • Professional Maturity: Drive the professional maturity of the Business Analysis function, aligning it with organisational objectives.
  • Best Practices: Promote best practices in Business Analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies across the organisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand needs, resolve challenges, and deliver solutions.
  • Culture Development: Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess most of the following experience:

  • Team Leadership: Significant experience in leading teams, including analysts.
  • Business Analysis Tools and Methodologies: Strong and demonstrable experience of Business Analysis tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Mentorship and Development: A people-first approach to mentoring and developing teams.
  • Transformation Programs: Previous experience of working on large transformation programmes.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: 1st-class communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups.
  • Staff Management: Experience managing staff with direct performance and development responsibilities.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure consistent standards.
