Storage Systems Coordinator

Join Bird Bellows, a leading international manufacturing group, as a Storage Systems Operative. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt and storage of goods, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient stock control.
Key Responsibilities:- Receipt and inspection of goods, including checking paperwork and quantities.
- Recording of goods receipt against purchase orders.
- Setup, administration, and control of vertical storage systems.
- Safe transfer and control of stock from sub-locations to operational lines.
- Ensure product is stored securely and suitably protected from damage or deterioration.
- Load and unload vertical storage systems using safe manual handling techniques.
- Allocate and kit issue storage product using the EFACS ERP System.
- Conduct perpetual stock counts and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure all storage and handling activities are conducted safely.
- Experience working within a logistics facility.
- Experience of working with various IT systems for work loading and booking processes.
- Level 2 English and Mathematics.
- Ability to inspect work to company and customer standards.
- Methodical approach with ability to self-manage workload to optimise efficiency.
