Job Title: Storage Systems Operative

Join our team at Senior Aerospace Bird Bellows, a leading manufacturer of pressure duct systems, flexible joints, and insulation for highly regulated industries. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storage Systems Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect goods deliveries, ensuring accurate quantities and documentation.
  • Record goods receipt against purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Set up, administer, and control the company's vertical storage systems, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of products.
  • Extract stored products using vertical storage systems, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring products are correctly located.
  • Transfer stock safely and efficiently from sub-locations to operational lines, including kitting of products to works orders.
  • Ensure products are stored securely and protected from damage or deterioration.
  • Load and unload vertical storage systems using safe manual handling techniques.
  • Allocate and kit issue storage products using the EFACS ERP System.
  • Maintain product identification and batch traceability, conducting perpetual stock counts as requested by Materials Control and Planning.
  • Resolve stock discrepancies between physical counts and system stock records.
  • Ensure all storage and handling activities are conducted safely.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a logistics facility.
  • Experience with various IT systems for work loading and booking processes.
  • Desirable: experience with logistics storage and material handling systems.
