We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Novo Executive Search. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to the project team on contractual and commercial issues arising from contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Manage contractual risks and opportunities, and support the management and control of all contractual documents.
- Procurement: Manage the process for the procurement of work packages.
- Contract Administration: Administer or support the administration of assigned contracts in line with the contract requirements and policies and procedures.
- Communication: Liaise with and support other functions, including Finance and Project Controls.
- Reporting: Provide support to project managers for their assigned contracts and manage interactions and claims with project teams and other project contributors.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance and make management aware of any upcoming commercial or contractual issues or deadlines.
- Qualifications: A BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Significant QS career background in the construction industry, either having worked for construction consultancies or contractors.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Expertise: Solid experience of delivering infrastructure projects, such as Energy, Nuclear, Utilities, Bridges, Highways, and/or Rail.
