About the Role
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex social and health care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage a caseload of clients on the reablement unit, working within set timeframes.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate treatment needs of clients, taking into account their individual requirements and goals.
- Participate in the development and delivery of high-quality services to the local population, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Promote effective teamwork within the Trust, delegating activities appropriately to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and service delivery.

Requirements
- Occupational Therapy diploma/degree
- Current registration with HCPC
- Evidence of post-graduate training in leadership, frailty, and rehabilitation
- Evidence of ongoing CPD in relevant areas
- Valid UK driving license
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Membership of the RCOT
- Evidence of clinical educator's course
- Use of car for work
- 2 years' experience in community, rehabilitation, frailty, or discharge to assess
- Evidence of service performance projects
- Evidence of teaching students, peers, and junior staff
- Evidence of autonomous working
- Evidence of clinical governance, audit, and clinical effectiveness projects
