About the Role

We are recruiting for a Support Assistant to join our team at Rose House, Hartlepool.

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality, hands-on support service to our customers, encouraging them to develop their daily living skills and build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a high-quality, hands-on support service to customers
  • Encouraging customers to develop their daily living skills
  • Encouraging social inclusion and building confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
  • Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of customers
  • Maintaining a safe environment for customers

Requirements

  • A caring, approachable nature and a confident 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to keep accurate records and communicate effectively
  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships
  • Experience of working as a member of a team
  • A positive and accepting approach to customers
  • Level 2 NVQ Health and Social Care or willing to work towards
