Senior FP&A Analyst Job Description

Your new company is seeking a highly skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Global Manufacturing Business team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in business decisions by providing insightful financial analysis and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present performance reporting analysis to shareholders, highlighting key financial insights and trends.
  • Annual Budget Development: Design and deliver the annual budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Financial Analysis and Insights: Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including board slide preparation and presentation.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business growth, improve financial performance, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cost Analysis and Insights: Conduct thorough cost analysis and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve FP&A processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • FP&A Experience: Proven experience working in a FP&A team, preferably in a growing organization.
  • Manufacturing Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the manufacturing industry, although not essential.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage and communicate with senior stakeholders, including shareholders and management.
  • Financial Data Interpretation: Experience interpreting and providing insights on financial data, including financial models and analysis.
  • Financial Modeling: Ability to build and review financial models, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Process Improvement: Experience with improvement projects within FP&A, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
