Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Residential Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Construction Quality Services (CQS) team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in new homes. Your expertise will help us identify and address any issues, providing valuable insights that inform our strategies and drive improvement.

About the Role

As a Residential Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the review and recording of build quality, ensuring that all new homes meet our stringent standards.
  • Coordinating and planning work to maximise efficiency and benefit.
  • Ensuring that bespoke project work is undertaken efficiently and effectively.
  • Assisting with the analysis of historic, recent, and emerging issues with the standard of new homes.
  • Assisting in quality-related work to establish causation behind issues and develop action plans to raise standards, improve quality, and reduce costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with NHBC and HSE requirements for personal safety and that of others.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Some hands-on construction experience in residential house building.
  • The ability to tailor communications to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  • IT literacy and the ability to learn new software packages.
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to write clearly and succinctly in a well-structured and logical way.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyse information to support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
