Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd in Warton, Carnforth.

This is a hybrid-working role of 2-3 days per week required on site. You MUST be eligible for security clearance (SC) to be considered for this role.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will use their engineering knowledge and experience to propose and develop solutions to problems throughout our product development cycle. As a key member of the team, you will bring components and systems together to form a System of Systems. Your responsibilities will include leading the integration of engineering across all aspects of Air platforms & products, covering all stages in the engineering life-cycle - from concept to delivery. You will manage the maturity of our engineering solutions as they develop, take any corrective action required, and ensure high standards and good engineering governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Propose and develop solutions to problems throughout the product development cycle
  • Lead the integration of engineering across all aspects of Air platforms & products
  • Manage the maturity of engineering solutions as they develop

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Life-cycle
  • Evidence-based experience in an engineering integration environment (Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Nuclear Industries)
  • Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets (Teamcenter PLM, DOORs, CAMEO, MATLAB, ANSYS)
  • Evidence-based experience of management responsibilities, managing teams and senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills across all levels of an organisation
