As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our offices, staff welfare facilities, and warehouse control towers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are clean and hygienic, including staff welfare facilities, common parts, and staircases. You will also be required to maintain the cleanliness of driver rest areas in both north and south hub offices and clean and maintain the warehouse control tower.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain staff welfare facilities, including toilets, kitchens, rest areas, and main canteen.
  • Clean common parts and staircases, excluding office desks.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of driver rest areas in both north and south hub offices.
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse control tower.
  • Mop floors and vacuum areas according to a set weekly rota.
  • Use lifts and cleaning cupboards for equipment storage.
  • Some lifting required for equipment handling.

Salary: £15-18 per hour (£450-540 per week)

Requirements:

  • Able to commute independently to the NDC.
  • Minimum of 3 years of cleaning experience in a commercial facility services setting.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations, including waste segregation and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety standards, particularly concerning PPE.
