Workshop Mechanic Position

A skilled Workshop Technician is required to work in the Bicester area for our client. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and excellent problem-solving skills.
Job Summary:- Maintenance and repair of equipment and goods in the workshop area.
- Development and implementation of efficient workshop scheduling systems.
- Training and guidance of junior technicians.
- Maintenance of accurate records of inspection and repair activities.
Requirements:
- Time served mechanical engineering-based apprenticeship.
- Further 3 years hands-on experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Competence with Microsoft Office suite applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Salary and Benefits:
- Estimated salary package of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.
