We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Consultant to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory diseases.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including respiratory nurse specialists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of respiratory medicine.
