About the Role

We are seeking a talented Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's dynamic team and contribute to their continued growth. Our site is receiving significant investment, offering you the opportunity to work in a world-class facility with cutting-edge equipment.

The successful candidate will be working a 24/7 shift pattern on a Panama schedule, which involves 12-hour shifts both days and nights. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the production facility, with a focus on electrical expertise but requiring multi-disciplinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Engineering specifications, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks to meet engineering and safety standards.
  • Conduct remedial engineering work on equipment and facilities as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
  • Identify and report any potential risks related to safety or equipment failures to management.
  • Complete and log all planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime and production disruption.

About You

  • You should have proven experience working in a Maintenance Department.
  • You must be multi-skilled and able to carry out both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
  • Ideally, you should be apprentice trained.
  • You must have worked in a Fast-paced manufacturing environment, such as Plastics, Food, Extrusion, Cosmetics, Healthcare, etc.
  • You should have good experience of managing safety in your daily activities.
  • You should have Excellent Mechanical Fault-finding skills.
  • You should have experience working with CMMS platforms and PPM experience.
  • You must be happy to work 12-hour days and nights.
